Ok fine, here's a quick post.
My brother-in-law asked me to do be a part of the service at his church yesterday. I lead worship and played an original. It was a pretty great time!
However, I wish it was more like this church service.

I haven’t posted very much the last couple weeks. I’ve been trying to soak up as much time with family and friends as possible, as well as this delightful California weather!
I guess until then you’ll have to find your own silly videos and stupid pictures.

WatchA clip from the ziplines I went on yesterday. As a man, you can’t use a zipline without the Indiana Jones theme song playing in your head. It’s literally impossible.
(It starts off sideways, but it turns right-way-up a couple seconds into it.)

A Creative Theology
Since we’ve lived here in Des Moines, we’ve made some incredible friends. It blows me away how some of our friendships took so strongly and so quickly here in just about 2 years. Crazy!
One of the friendships that I’ve made is with Sam Mahlstadt - who actually lived in North Carolina when I first moved to Des Moines. We started talking via twitter, and when Sam and his wife...
I’m digging into a lot of my past this week. Some of it’s beautiful, some of it’s painful, but it’s all part of my story. It’s not as easy as I thought it might be, but hopefully good things will come from it.
