My good friend, @jfbaxter, turned me on to a blog by a guy named Karl.  It’s pretty great.  And sometimes it’s glorious.  It always amazes me how he is able to explain, in terrifying detail, how almost every worship leader/musician in the country thinks and operates.  He had a great post today, but here is just a clip of it.  It’s hilarious. It’s Sunday morning. The worship is...

A Phone Conversation
Me: I need a quote on getting my rear window replaced.
Glass Repair Guy: (With heavy Mexican accent) Do you live in Iowa?

GRG: Oh, caller ID said your number is from California.
Me: Yeah, we moved here somewhat recently.
GRG: Oh. I'm from California too. Good luck.
Me: Thanks........so about that quote...?

“The love of God is greater far Than tongue or pen can ever tell; It...”
– Can’t get these lyrics out of my head lately. It’s an old hymn, written in 1917 by Frederick Lehman.  Everyone I’ve ever talked to about this song has agreed that the third verse is one of the most beautiful, poetic and powerful lines in any hymn ever written.  Here is what the...
