Give ‘em the Byrd.
About a year and a half ago, before I even knew where Des Moines was, Es and I traveled out to Richmond, Virginia to interview with a church out there called Area 10 Church. It was an incredible church with great leadership, awesome people, a beautiful town, and a mind-blowing location. Chris, Abby and the rest of the team there were awesome, but it just wasn’t the right fit.
Why do I bring any of this up, you might ask?
As I said, the church meets at an incredible location: The Byrd Theatre. While the pictures make it look almost flawless, it is actually desperately in need of restoration. (Although even in it’s “antiqued” state, it’s still beautiful!) Well, the The Byrd is in the Pepsi Refresh challenge and has the opportunity to win $250k for restoration.
So instead of checking your Facebook that one more time before you go to bed (nobody messaged you anyway…don’t worry about it), could you head over to the Pepsi Refresh website and vote for The Byrd!
