Night One - It’s a Wrap!
As I’m typing this, Wayde is laying down the final drum track of the night. We’ve been at it for just shy of 8 hours. I’m pretty sure we’re all exhausted, but definitely excited about how things are coming along.
Jeremy is putting 3 originals on this album, and I’m so freaking excited about it. I’ve wanted this guy to record his stuff since the first time I heard it, almost 2 years ago.
So the drums for Jeremy’s stuff is done, tomorrow we’ll hit vocals, guitars, cello, and who knows what else.
Many thanks to Logan, Kate, Kelly, and Zach for their patience with how things progressed tonight. This is a different, interesting, exciting, and challenging project.
Many more thanks to my incredible wife, who has somehow managed to let me have 40 hours this week in a recording studio, on top of an already insanely hectic work, church, and family schedule.
