Day 8.
Today is the 8th day in a row that I’ve specifically taken time aside to read, meditate, pray, and write.
If you’re a Christian, I don’t need to tell you this is something that “you should do.” You’ve heard it. I’m not writing it here to brag or try and impress you with my spirituality.
In fact, I write it here because I feel like an ass. I know that 20 year old me needed to know that pastors don’t have it together either.
I’m 29. I’m a pastor. I am still struggling to make this a daily habit.
That being said…it’s been delightful. I can honestly say that. I’ve read a few verses each day and written my thoughts down about those verses. I can tell you what I read about last Monday. That has never happened.
I’m not on a spiritual high - I’m just excited to be spending more time with Jesus, and I’m excited to learn more about myself in the process.
